Tune: “Sarabande Suite (Aeternae)” by Globus
Drink: Paarl Ruby Port

I had a vision, where I was completely clad in plate armour and I had a claymore drawn towards the sky. Then in one swift move, I stabbed myself through the chest, as the army moved beyond me for their own war. Then I drifted off and was reborn a peasant. As I picked cabbages, I looked at my dirty hands and had a massive feeling of sadness that I miss something lost to me. Over the days, nights, weeks, months and years, for every sun-down, upon the fire, I had thoughts of fighting huge wars, for a king that I deemed worthy, and a life fulfilling. At night, I dreamt of someone soft, who conjured a smile just for me. At sunrise, I tend to my animals and my plants and wonder where I got the strength.

I wonder, people should live simpler lives. Where they aren’t completely aware of themselves. Where they live life, day in, day out, to do what they do, for what the universe sets out for them to do. I am constantly aware of myself. It is indeed, very difficult. I can see myself peering out of my body. I can feel that I need to be released, but I cannot.

Tonight, I will drink until I can drink no more. I took my dad to the airport on Tuesday for his flight to Hong Kong. Mmm, this song is good.

Tune: “Heavy Intro” by Talvin Singh featuring Amar

I bought this CD a few years ago. Had it converted to MP3. Haven’t heard this for a long time. I think you will like this Michelle. What do you think of when you listen to it?

Who wants to travel with me next year? I want to do some solo or partner travelling next year somewhere. I am thinking of India or Burma.

A lot of times, I want to stay in my own little world. It keeps me away from the things I am passionately against, or passionately in disagreement with. For example, I can’t think too straight right now. [laughs]

Jon, to make up for buying such a bad game – though hey, it’s not that bad; erm, I FOUND AND BOUGHT GTR2 and RACE 07!!!!! OMGOD I can’t wait until I come back from Hong Kong to play them! They’re being mailed to Jason’s place.

Anyway, back on topic…

No, nevermind. I broke the habit of starting unwanted sentences and abruptly stopping half way. Another missing piece.

Anyone can play an instrument, but not everyone can soothe my senses with their voice.

  1. so you played REVO already?

When are you leaving for the motherland? I’ll be in late on the 13th. I think I remember you saying you were leaving on the 14th and returning on the 31st?

  2. Leaving 14th at 4:30pm and back at 30th Vancouver time, cuz I’m actually leaving HK on the 30th, but since it takes roughly 12 hours to get ‘back-in-time’, it will be 30th by the time I come back.

Yes, I’ve played REVO. It has super nice graphics for an arcade sim, BUT guess what? THE DAMN GAME won’t let me change the keyboard config! IT ALLOWS Xbox 360 controllers, but it won’t let me change the stupid default keyboard keys! It is so expected of console game companies to do shit conversion jobs. Midway with The Suffering 2, Sega with its rally game, and a couple of others in the past. So if it can’t be solved, I’ll have to resell it on Ebay for cheap. Sega can be such bastard whores, and I loved their Sonic games too.

Edit: just went to the Sega boards again. Seems like the left and right keys are < and > – how retarded eh? What about handbrake? I use that a lot in racing games. BTW REVO DOES look cool that you can actually deform the terrain that will affect driving conditions AND you can actually get mud and dirt and debris on your car.

Oh and one more thing, I bought a new video card yesterday for $155 ($180 after tax). It’s an ATI Sapphire Radeon 2600 XT with 256 MB of GDDR3 video RAM. It’s not nearly as awesome as the GeForce 8800 series or the Radeon 2800 series, BUT it is super fast and smooth when I turn on Anti-Alias x2 for MW and turn up most things for Supreme Commander FA. It is friggin wicked. ^_^

Core 2 Duo 2.6’s are $190 and Quad Core 2.4’s are $285. If things are good with the company after the new year, I might upgrade it to Quad Core and probably expand my RAM from 3GB to 4.

  3. or you can buy a damn PS3 and have Gran Turismo 5 orgies with me

p.s. I think you have to upgrade to Vista if you want to run 4GB of RAM…XP doesn’t support 4GBs of RAM unless they do something drastic with the upcoming Service Pack 3

  4. I was wondering why my 4th GB kept crashing my system! I thought it was RAM defect! Ah crap! Good thing I didn’t sell the stick yet.

I would consider buying a PS3. Actually I was considering it a few days ago, but $500 is still too expensive for me. I’ll see how things go by March 2008. ^_^

There is no left wing or right wing specific ideals here. It is as life should be regardless of society's squabbles and disagreements. I never said I strive to be a good person, nor did I ever say I will deliberately do people harm. I only said that I will do what needs to be done to survive in the world. The end doesn't always justify the means and the means don't always justify the end.

People from all shades of the political and social spectrum will find my content offensive. So my blog isn't for most people. It's for people closer to my spectrum of recognition and understanding. If you are an easily triggered reactionary conservative snowflake, then kindly fuck off. If you are an obnoxiously phoney liberal that consider yourself progressive but actually limit yourself to the matchbox-sized confinements of your isms, then go choke on your own crying snot juice elsewhere. You have been warned.

For the rest of you, welcome to my immodest abode. It's not smart, nor intelligent, nor wise. It's just life.
